Impressions:
Schützendorf is based near the route 112 from Gollnow to
Stepenitz. It consists only of one small road with the farms and
houses on the left and right. It looks like these are the old
german houses, but not always in a good shape, like in other
villages. It's very quiet here, no shops or church. The old
cemetary is at the northern edge, hidden in the woods. Some old
graves are still visible, but it's mainly destroyed. It was
impossible for me to read some names on the left pieces of the
gravestones. I don't have actual population-figures, but it will
be less then the 200 inhabitants before the war.
