Impressions:
Though Harmsdorf is very small (see Population), it became my favourite on my journey. It's based very romantic between soft hills, meadows and forest. The houses and farms are the originals of before the war and look in a good shape, which wasn't everywhere the case. The church (meanwhile catholic) stands in the middle of the central place and is in a good shape too, unfortunately it was locked. It has a stork-nest on the chimney. I didn't see any shops, well, with only 56 inhabitants.... The cemetary is 200 meter north in the forest. It's rather big for this small village, framed by a brick-wall, and has still some old graves from the german time at the edge, mainly end of 19. century. Some crosses are broken, but some are still standing and readable (see pictures). I saw the names Krüger and Struck, which are amongst my ancestors from Harmsdorf, and the name Mittag.

Many thanks to Matthias Parpart, who send me his decryption of the names:
Christian Friedrich Krüger *08.10.1815 +12.03.1882
Hermann Krüger *19.04.1849 +10.07.1884
Ida Krüger *05.10.1889 +27.03.1896
Egbert August Richard Struck *??.??.18?? +??.??.18??
Franz August....Struck *22.04.1885 +20.04.1887
Ida Maria Tugendreich Struck *14.04.1881 +01.08.1881
Emma Emilie Mathilde Struck *14.01.1884 +01.02.1884
Erich Arthur Wilhelm Mittag *24.09.1884 +11.05.1885
Gottfried Krüger *05.10.1813 + 24.??.1891 (my GrGr-Grandfather)

Conclusion: a romantic small village in a wonderful landscape.
